
Warm Goats’ Cheese with Grape Chutney
Serves 4 
  Preparation time: 15 minutes 
  Cooking time: 10 minutes 
Ingredients
For the chutney:
4 tbsp olive oil 
     2 tsp dried chilli flakes 
     4 tsp white wine vinegar 
     4 tsp caster sugar 
     100g South African green grapes 
     100g South African red grapes 
For the warm goats’ cheese:
4 tbsp olive oil 
    150g goats cheese, from a cylinder, cut into rounds 
    100g rocket, to garnish 
    Salt & black pepper 
Method
1. To make the chutney, heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the chilli flakes, vinegar and sugar and fry for one minute
2. Add the grapes and cook for five minutes, until the grapes are beginning to break down and soften
3. For the goats’ cheese, heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the goats’ cheese rounds and gently fry for five minutes on each side until browned
4. To serve, place the goats’ cheese rounds into the centre of a plate.
Garnish with rocket in the middle and add the grape chutney to the side
